Winter Wonderland THIS SUNDAY!
It's the big event of the year that we all look forward to! The Friends of George Spicer (FoGS) Winter Wonderland is this Sunday, and it's going to be more Christmassy than Mariah Carey's holiday playlist on repeat! We hope you can join us for some festive fun.
All profits go towards this years £15K fundraising target for new outdoor learning spaces, games and activities for Kimberley Gardens and Sketty Road sites.

BE IN IT TO WIN IT! Your little ones will have brought home some raffle tickets last week, so please look out for these! We've got some fantastic prizes this year, so check with family and friends to see if they want a ticket and be 'in it to win it!' Simply fill in your slip and return with your payment via the school, or bring them on the day!

GET YOUR BAKE ON! If you are an aspiring GBBO contestant, get your bake on as we'd love some homemade delights to sell at Winter Wonderland. Shop bought donations are welcome too! These can be dropped off at the school on Friday 22nd November

We are looking for parent/carer helpers to manage some of the fun games and activities we have planned! If you are coming along, please volunteer (even if it's just for just half an hour) so that we can make sure the event stays open and all games / activities are available for EVERYONE! Contact your parent rep, or email us ASAP

Join Santa on a magical journey through festive scenes in this unique interactive adventure! Perfect for families, suitable for ages 4+. Meet beloved characters, sing along to live Christmas classics, solve festive clues with Santa's helpers, enjoy merry dances and jolly jokes.
As an added bonus, if you use the code SPICER when booking then the school will receive a £1 donation per ticket. So, you can support the school while enjoying the show, really capturing the giving spirit of Christmas!

Parentkind – the charity that supports school PTAs - have teamed up with Asda, who is making millions of pounds available to donate to primary schools across the UK. Simply opt in through the Asda Rewards app, choose our primary school and scan in store or shop online at Asda.com, between 2nd September and 30th November 2024.
Asda will donate 0.5% of the value of your shop to our PTA. Also, every time somebody opts in, Asda will give an additional £1 to our school Cashpot.

Please share with friends and family that our school is participating in this, as every little helps (oooops, that's Tesco! Shhhhh, don't tell Asda!)

Our Goal for 2024/25
This term so far we have raised just over £1,500 with our Discos and Pre-Loved Uniform sales!

As well as being a fantastic fun family event, Winter Wonderland is an important fundraising event in our calendar, so we are hoping to have raised a lot more before we take a break for Christmas.
