A new chapter for FoGS — and an exciting summer ahead!
The countdown to summer is officially on... and with a brand new FoGS Festival event on the horizon, and some fresh faces joining the committee, there’s lots to celebrate!
FOGS FESTIVAL IS FAST APPROACHING...
We're fast approaching our annual Summer Fun Day - this year called the FoGS Festival, and we promise to make it a fun and fantastic day for all the whole George Spicer community.
We have some of your favourite's - Teachers BBQ, Krispy Kremes, Raffles, Face Painting, Beat the Goalie... plus some surprise new additions to our games and activities!
And of course, you've guess it....

The Rainbow Raffles
BE IN IT TO WIN IT! Your little ones will have brought home some raffle tickets recently, so please look out for these!
We've got some fantastic prizes this year -1st prize includes 2 x tickets to see Kevin Bridges with a golden hamper, 2nd prize includes £100 Amazon vouchers and a silver hamper, and 3rd prize includes 2 x day passes to David Lloyd Enfield and a bronze hamper! PLUS, we have the famous rainbow hampers and many many more prizes to be won!
Please make sure your tickets and money are returned to the school office or class teacher before Wednesday 1st of July!
And check with family and friends to see if they want a ticket and be 'in it to win it!'

We are also looking for parent/carer helpers to help set up the event from 1pm on Friday 3rd of July and to also supervise some of the fun games and activities we have planned!
Many hands make light work (so they say!), so please make sure you tell your class rep if you can help (even if it's only for a sort while!)
Show your children what we can achieve as a team! As you know, Friends of George Spicer (FoGS) are a charity that is independent to (but working to the benefit of) the school. All profits we raise from our fundraising activities go towards this years fundraising target.
This year’s fundraising – we’re 77% there!
Our fundraising target for this school year is £10,000, and we’re already an amazing 77% of the way there.
Every pound raised goes towards enhancing school life for all children... from resources and activities to experiences that sit beyond the standard school budget.
