Half term already?!

And just like that, we're nearly at the first half term of the year!  Which can only mean one thing...

​DONATION DAY!​

​We'd like donations for the Rainbow Raffle (we will be making colourful hampers for this year’s Winter Fair).  Each year group has their own colour for donations:

Reception - Red

Year 1 - Orange

Year 2 - Yellow

Year 3 - Green

Year 4 - Blue

Year 5 - Purple

Year 6 - Pink​

We are also collecting good condition pre-loved toys & books, and donations of unopened bottles (alcohol, soft drinks, toiletries) & unwanted gifts.

We also have some other events coming up, so make a note!

Tuesday 21st October - Non-Uniform Day & Donation Day. Suggested donation for non-uniform is £1 per child.  We'll be collecting at the school gates in the morning.

Tuesday 11th November - Pre-Loved Uniform Sale. We will be selling good quality pre-loved uniform in the main Sketty Road playground after school.

Friday 14th November - Pre-Loved Toy & Book Sale. We will be selling good quality pre-loved toys and books in the main hall at Sketty Road between 3.30 - 4.30pm.

Help us raise more!

​Show your support by signing up to host a Castles board to promote our event  
​
The board will advertise our Winter Fair on Friday 5th December, and are being generously donated by Castles Estate Agents (who also pay FoGS £10 for every board!)

  • All profits go towards equipment / resources for the Children of George Spicer


We'd love to increase our volunteer numbers  You can invest as much or as little time as you like, but we urgently need more support (many hands make light work as they say!)

This academic year we have set our target to £10,000...​​ We've already made a great start, with the Year 4&6 discos making £1,000! 

 

HELP US TO KEEP GOING BY SUPPORTING OUR EVENTS​  We will keep you informed as to how and where this money will be invested for the benefit of your children.
