SUMMER FUN DAY IS FAST APPROACHING...
This weekend (Sunday 6th July) will be our annual Summer Fun Day, and we promise to make it a fun and fantastic day for all the whole George Spicer community.

BE IN IT TO WIN IT! Your little ones will have brought home some raffle tickets last week, so please look out for these! We've got some fantastic prizes this year (1st Prize is £100 CASH 💷), so check with family and friends to see if they want a ticket and be 'in it to win it!'

We are also looking for parent/carer helpers to help set up the event on Saturday 5th July and manage some of the fun games and activities we have planned! Many hands make light work (so they say!), and at present, we don't have enough hands to run all the usual stalls 😵 If you want your children to have the best Summer Fun Day, we need you!

We have all your favourite's... Teachers BBQ, Cake Stall, Pre-Loved Books & Toys, Raffle, Fairground Rides, Face Painting, Beat the Goalie plus some surprise new additions to our games and activities!

Don't miss out on the upgraded Tiki Bar, Archery, Cricket, the all new free sand play / lego play, and of course....

Remember - Anyone wearing a Hawaiian shirt/skirt can be entered into our special prize draw!
As you know, Friends of George Spicer (FoGS) are a charity that is independent to the school. All profits we raise from our fundraising activities go towards this years £15K fundraising target for new outdoor games and activities for the Kimberley Gardens site.

We are always looking for parent / carer volunteers to help us to manage and run our events - without your support we are unable to provide these events that are not only fun for the children, but also raise vital pennies towards extra provisions for the school. If you would like to volunteer, or want to find out more about ways you can support our work, please get in contact.
We're looking for a new Treasurer & Secretary to support our charity. If you are interested, or would like to find out more about what these roles involve, please speak to a member of the FoGS Team, or send us an email.
