Welcome Back!
And warm 'hello' to all new parents and carers to our school community, especially those who have just started in Reception. If you don't already know us, we're the Friends of George Spicer School (aka FoGS), otherwise known as the PTA! We organise and host various events and fun activities throughout the year to raise additional funds to support our children's school experience.​

This year, we're changing things up a little, so keep your eyes peeled for news and upcoming events... to get us started, here is our main calendar for this academic year (so get the dates in your diary!) You can also stay up to date by visiting our events page

Friday 3rd October - Years 4 & 6 Glow Disco, entry with pre-booked tickets only, so make sure to buy yours now if you haven't already done so!
Wednesday 8th October - FoGS online meeting. We're a friendly bunch (I promise!) and everyone is welcome to join. Please email us for zoom details
Tuesday 21st October - Non-Uniform Day & Donation Day. Suggested donation for non-uniform is £1 per child. We are also looking for donations of good quality but unwanted/unopened gifts, toiletries, alcohol etc for the Winter Fair Adult Tombola!

We'd love to increase our volunteer numbers this year! You can invest as much or as little time as you like, but we urgently need more support (many hands make light work as they say!)

Our Goal for 2024/25
Our target or the previous academic year 2024/25 was to raise £15,000...​​ We smashed it, and raised a grand total of £16,400!

We will keep you informed as to how and where this money will be invested for the benefit of your children.
