New play equipment coming to Kimberly Gardens
Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we’re delighted to share that new play equipment for Kimberly Gardens will be installed next month.
Last school year, together we smashed our £15,000 fundraising target, making this investment possible.
The new equipment has been chosen to support:
-
Climbing and physical challenge
-
Balance and co-ordination
-
Social play and collaboration
This is a brilliant example of how FoGS fundraising directly supports the extra experiences that enrich school life - and it simply wouldn’t happen without your support. Thank you.

The School asked...
... and FoGS delivered!
Tissues are constantly needed for the classrooms, especially at this time of year when colds and sniffles are rife! The school asked for tissue donations in last weeks newsletter, so the FoGS Team stepped up and and donated 120 boxes!
Hopefully that will keep the kids noses clean (for a while at least!)
This year’s fundraising – we’re 60% there!
Our fundraising target for this school year is £10,000, and we’re already an amazing 60% of the way there.
Every pound raised goes towards enhancing school life for all children... from resources and activities to experiences that sit beyond the standard school budget.
Help us cross the finish line by donating via PayPal (scan the or touch the QR) or by supporting an upcoming event (details below).
Volunteers Needed Chair & Company Secretary roles
At the end of April, our fabulous Co-Chairs Hannah & Bex will be stepping down.
To keep our charity running smoothly (and to continue funding opportunities like the new play equipment) we are looking for volunteers to step into these roles. You don’t need prior experience, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support the school community. You’ll be fully supported, and these roles can be shared or shaped to suit available time where possible.
If you’ve ever thought “I could help”, now really is the moment.
No further fundraising events can be planned beyond April unless we’re able to replace the two key roles, so please get in touch with us if you’d like to find out more or have an informal chat.
* As a charity, all roles are unpaid (but do have a whole heap of benefits):
-
Meet like-minded parents/carers (we're a friendly bunch!)
-
Help to build a stronger school community
-
Have your say on ideas and activities for fundraising
-
Use your talents/skills to help our charity
-
Be a role model for your child/children
-
These official roles can be a great addition to your CV!
