Hellooooo Autumn!
Can you believe it's almost half term already? Hopefully your children have settled into the new academic year well, and are looking forward to lots of exciting things to come!

FoGS (Friends of George Spicer) have got the fundraising underway already, with the Year 4 and Year 6 discos on the 4th of October... everyone had a great time, and we raised nearly £1,000!
​
We are now focused on our Winter Wonderland event, on Sunday the 24th of November.... This Thursday (24th October), we have not only a non-unform day (£1 donation) but also we are asking for donations for our Winter Wonderland event... Watch our video for a full list of what donations we're asking for, and we are also on the look out for
🎅Pre-Loved Christmas Jumpers and used but good quality decorations🎅

Our Goal for 2024/25
Our goal for the academic year 2024/25 is to raise £15,000+ for new outdoor learning spaces, games and activities for Kimberley Gardens and Sketty Road sites.
​
We recently raised nearly £1,000 with our Year 4 and Year 6 discos! The children had a fantastic time, and we are well on our way with the fundraising efforts this year.

Cashpot for Schools

Parentkind – the charity that supports school PTAs - have teamed up with Asda, who is making millions of pounds available to donate to primary schools across the UK. Simply opt in through the Asda Rewards app, choose our primary school and scan in store or shop online at Asda.com, between 2nd September and 30th November 2024.
Asda will donate 0.5% of the value of your shop to our PTA. Also, every time somebody opts in, Asda will give an additional £1 to our school Cashpot.

Please share with friends and family that our school is participating in this, as every little helps (oooops, that's Tesco! Shhhhh, don't tell Asda!)
