Egg-citing Times Ahead!

Spring is in the air and the Easter holidays are just around the corner! As we head into a well-earned break, it’s the perfect time to recap on a busy and brilliant term — from discos, to costume sales, pre-loved books and more!  Oh, and not forgetting the arrival of the fantastic new playground equipment at Kimberly Gardens.

YAY - new play equipment now at Kimberly Gardens

We’re delighted to hear from the school that new play equipment at Kimberly Gardens has been a big hit with the students and staff alike!

The new equipment was chosen to support:

  • Climbing and physical challenge

  • Balance and co-ordination

  • Social play and collaboration

This is a brilliant example of how FoGS fundraising directly supports the extra experiences that enrich school life - and it simply wouldn’t happen without your support.

Thank you.

This year’s fundraising – we’re 77% there!

Our fundraising target for this school year is £10,000, and we’re already an amazing 77% of the way there.

Every pound raised goes towards enhancing school life for all children... from resources and activities to experiences that sit beyond the standard school budget.

Help us cross the finish line by donating via PayPal (scan or touch the QR) or by supporting an upcoming event (details below).

Volunteers Needed

To keep our events running smoothly (and to continue the funding opportunities like the new play equipment) we are looking for volunteers to help support us.

You don’t need prior experience, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support the school community. You’ll be fully supported, and roles can be shaped to suit availability.

If you’ve ever thought “I could help”, now really is the moment.

As a charity, all roles are unpaid (but do have a whole heap of benefits):

  • Meet like-minded parents/carers (we're a friendly bunch!)

  • Help to build a stronger school community

  • Have your say on ideas and activities for fundraising

  • Have voting rights on how funds are spent

  • Use your talents/skills to help our charity

  • Be a role model for your child/children

Please do get in contact with us to find out more.  A letter will be sent soon (via the school) with more information about our upcoming Annual General Meeting, and how to get involved in an official capacity.
