Summer is just around the corner...

It seems we have waited an age in never-ending rain, but at last the sun is finally out!

And just in time for everyone to start enjoying the new Table Tennis tables at Sketty Road, that FoGS have funded.  We hope it brings many future generations as much pleasure as it has for us to be able to provide these as part of this years donations to the school.

We recently held our Annual General Meeting at Kimberley Gardens, and it was exciting to welcome some new faces, who we hope will join our regular meetings. We talked about upcoming events, and ideas on how to spend the funds we are raising.

If you would like to come to our next meeting and have your say, we would love to welcome you on Wednesday 15th May - see details below.

We also welcomed two new Co-Chairs, Rebecca and Hannah, who will be leading the FoGS team after this years Chair, Christina Culora, decided to step down.

Last year was a challenge for the FoGS team, organising the first full scale Summer Fun Day since the pandemic, and having the storage facility flood just before the Winter Wonderland event.  Thank you Christina for holding the team together - we're glad you are sticking around on the committee for another year to support us further.

We are starting to plan this years Summer Fun Day - if you have any ideas, would like a stall (or know anyone who would) then please contact us friendsofgerogespicerpta@gmail.com

We will be collecting donations on Friday 7th June, keep your eyes peeled for further details!
